Prophetess Shanika N. Ackerson was born in Puerto Rico, to Alvin and Alecia Fahie. Prophetess Ackerson had the pleasure of living in various states to include Virginia and Illinois; before settling in the sunshine state of Florida. After graduating from Paxon School for Advance Studies in 2005, she was accepted into Hampton University, one of the nation’s top Historically Black Colleges and Universities, as a Psychology major. In 2009, she graduated Cum Laude from Hampton University. After completing her collegiate studies, Prophetess Ackerson returned to Jacksonville, FL gaining experience in the financial sector before leaving the corporate world to focus on family life and ministry.
Early 2016, Prophetess Ackerson had served in various ministry positions to include: Director of Ministry Operations, Special Events Coordinator, Hospitality Team Member, and Usher, before being taught, trained, trusted, and certified as an Apostolic Intercessor, under the training of Apostle Ronald D. Ackerson II, of Ronald Ackerson Ministries, Inc.
Mid 2016, She partnered with Ronald Ackerson Ministries Inc, completed Discipleship Training, and a year later was affirmed as a Prophet and Licensed/Ordained Pastor in 2017, who engages in Intercessory Prayer and Spiritual Warfare. She is the Vice President of Abundant Grace Worship Ministries Int'l which use to be Ronald Ackerson Ministries Inc. Her passion is to empower and encourage the saints by equipping them with Revelation, Knowledge and Understanding, with the mandate to make ready a people for the coming of the Lord.
Prophetess Shanika N. Ackerson assisted in a 12-Week Intercessory Prayer Training Class, that graduated 15 Apostolic & Prophetic Intercessors, while co-hosting the weekly “Lion’s Den Radio Broadcast” with Apostle Ronald D. Ackerson II on WCGL AM 1360. Prophetess Shanika N. Ackerson currently resides with husband Apostle Ronald D. Ackerson II in Jacksonville, Florida. Prophetess Ackerson favorite scriptures continues to be Galatians 2:20- “I am crucified with Christ, nevertheless I live, yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me”.
